There is something so enthralling about the beauty of nature. It is simplistic, yet so profound. Even the most minuscule elements of nature can inspire so much meaning within us. That is why I try to take my camera with me everywhere I travel. Nature is unpredictable and you never know when you are going to pass something that will leave you in a state of awe, so being prepared to capture every moment is a practice I try to live by.
I finally got around to uploading a few of my recent photographic mementos. These are naturally occurring images that have invoked so much happiness in my life recently. Beauty radiates through each of these photographs in the form of natural light and astounding colors that can truly only be found in nature.
The way the sky reflected off of this natural pond is what initially caught my attention. Upon further investigation, I saw these slivers of orange flashing just beneath the surface. The color of the goldfish mixed with the green and purple of the plants was mesmerizing; the backdrop of the white clouds and blue sky added even more natural hues!
While I was walking around the same pond, there was a disturbance in the water that caused a rippling effect that extended around a small area. This motion caused the shapes and colors to distort and merge together, making them almost unrecognizable. Temporarily, this portion of water became a different scene altogether before the movement settled. What was left were the familiar shapes and colors that were once reflected upon its surface.
You don’t have to live in an exotic location in order to capture wildlife and nature in a magnificent way. Beauty and inspiration is all around you – you just need to look for it. I hope these photographs serve as a reminder that you can find immense wonder in your background, at your local park, or even along a hidden trail within your favorite hiking spot.
